BMW Automotive (Mini Ireland) Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mini Cooper and Countryman passenger vehicles.
The risk description reported to us is that the end seatbelts in the second row of seats in the vehicles in question may not have been manufactured correctly, which may result in failure of the car sensitivity sensors (acceleration and rotation measurement). There is a risk that the passengers will be insufficiently protected.
There are 17 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 05 August 2025 to 23 September 2025.

BMW Automotive (Mini Ireland) Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mini Cooper and Countryman passenger vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby the front left and/or right seat belt was not manufactured correctly. In the event of a collision or accident, the restraint function may be reduced and may not provide the necessary protection. As a result, there may be an increased risk of injury.
There are 12 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 18 June 2025 and 25 August 2025.

BMW Automotive (Mini Ireland) Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mini Cooper, Countryman and Aceman passenger vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby on the vehicles concerned, the hollow shaft of the servomotor was not welded correctly. The weld may not be able to withstand high braking pressure build-up and may break. In this case, the reduced braking performance requires greater force and the braking distance may increase. In addition, the ABS and DSC brake control systems are not assisted. This increases the risk of an accident.
