DT Swiss is carrying out a recall of DT Swiss bicycle wheels of the model series ARC, ERC, CRC & HEC.

Twelve pairs of DT Swiss Wheels, arranged in two rows of six. They range from grey to dark grey in colour

The risk reported to the CCPC is property damage, serious injury or death. The wheel rim may weaken or fail unexpectedly, leading to property damage, serious injury, or death.

The brand is DT Swiss. The models are ARC/ERC/CRC/HEC.

The affected wheel models of the ERC, CRC, and HEC series have rim heights of 35 and 45 mm and affected models of the ARC series have rim heights of 50, 55, and 65 mm.

There are approximately 656 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Consumers should stop using the affected wheels immediately, check the DT Swiss ID number on their rims, and visit the DT Swiss Recall Notice or email recall@dtswiss.com to verify if their wheels are part of the recall. If affected, they should follow the instructions to return the wheels for inspection. DT Swiss will inspect the returned wheels and, if necessary, replace them free of charge.
