Dynabook is carrying out a recall of AC Power Adapter’s used with certain Toshiba- branded Notebooks.

The laptop AC adapters can overheat and spark presenting a risk of fire and burns.

The brand is Toshiba. Below is a link to the list of AC adapter part numbers and PC model numbers possibly affected by this announcement:

AC Adapter Replacement Model List

This is an expansion of a recall announced in 2018, with additional models now identified as being affected by the hazard. Customers who previously checked and determined that their AC adapter was not affected by the June 2018 recall must now re-check their AC adapter.

This product may have been sold to customers in the Republic of Ireland.

Consumers are advised to check their AC adapter’s part number and if affected, they should turn off the laptop and unplug the AC adapter immediately.
