Gowan Distributors Limited is recalling specific Citroën models, including the Berlingo, Jumpy, C3 Aircross, C3, C4, and C4X, due to multiple safety concerns. For some vehicles equipped with the DV5R engine, there is a risk of engine failure caused by slippage of the water pump pulley, which can lead to misalignment of the timing belt and potential engine shutdown. This issue affects 358 vehicles produced between 15 October 2025 and 02 March 2026.

Additionally, certain Citroën C3 Aircross and C3 models may have been assembled with insufficient clearance between the petrol particulate filter and the starter alternator. In wet conditions, this can cause water infiltration and electric arcing, posing a fire risk. A total of 33 vehicles produced between 21 February 2025 and 21 May 2025 are affected. Similarly, 580 vehicles from the C3 Aircross, C3, C4, and C4X models produced between 04 October 2023 and 12 January 2026 face the same fire risk due to the same assembly issue.

Moreover, some Citroën Jumper NG vehicles have been found to have non-compliant fuel return pipes that could lead to fuel leaks. This issue affects 12 vehicles produced between 07 January 2025 and 22 July 2025, with the potential for fire if fuel contacts hot parts. Lastly, a safety issue has been identified in 204 vehicles from the Berlingo, C5 Aircross, and Jumpy models produced between 26 July 2025 and 08 October 2025, where a fuel leak could occur due to a loose connection, leading to a fire risk under the bonnet.

Customers who own any of the affected vehicles will be contacted directly by Gowan Distributors Limited and are advised to make an appointment with their local dealer or authorized repairer for necessary repairs or replacements.
