Gowan Distributors Limited is conducting a recall of various DS model vehicles due to multiple safety concerns. One significant issue involves the DS7 Crossback, where the Stop&Start function may fail due to incorrect coding, potentially leading to increased CO2 emissions that do not meet regulatory standards. This affects 124 vehicles produced between November 10, 2023, and May 5, 2025.
Another serious concern is with certain DS3 and DS4 V2 models, which may have a fuel leak in the high-pressure hose due to loose nuts. This could result in increased fuel consumption and a risk of fire. A total of 412 vehicles produced between November 8, 2022, and April 22, 2025, are impacted by this issue.
Additionally, there are concerns regarding the Takata airbags in certain DS3 models, where the inflators may deteriorate over time, posing a risk of bursting with excessive force during an accident. This recall affects 707 vehicles produced between 2016 and 2019. Owners of these vehicles are advised to stop driving them immediately until the necessary repairs are made by authorized dealerships.
