Fiat recalls certain Grande Panda, Ducato, Doblo, and Scudo vehicles due to fire risk

Gowan Distributors Limited (Fiat Ireland) has announced a voluntary recall affecting several Fiat models due to identified safety hazards. The recall includes the Fiat Grande Panda and 600 models, which may have insufficient clearance between components that could lead to electric arcing and potential fire risks in wet conditions. A total of 166 vehicles produced between 25 February 2025 and 23 January 2026 in the Republic of Ireland are involved in this recall.

Additionally, the Fiat Ducato model is being recalled due to issues with fuel return pipes that do not meet specifications, which could result in fuel leaks. This recall affects 46 vehicles manufactured between 19 March 2025 and 04 July 2025. Furthermore, certain Fiat Doblo and Scudo vehicles with DV5R engines are also recalled due to a potential fuel leak caused by a non-conformity in the common rail. This could lead to fuel vapors igniting near the hot exhaust system, affecting 52 vehicles produced from 25 July 2025 to 10 October 2025.
