Gowan Distributors Limited (Fiat Ireland) has announced a voluntary recall affecting specific models of Fiat vehicles. The recall includes the Fiat Ulysse and Scudo models equipped with the DW10F EUR 6.4 engine. A safety concern has been identified where a diagnostic test may show inefficient urea consumption, potentially leading to emissions levels that do not meet regulatory standards. This recall affects 73 vehicles produced in the Republic of Ireland between September 9, 2022, and January 29, 2024.
In addition, there is a recall for the Fiat 600 and Grande Panda models due to a safety issue related to the high-pressure fuel hose. Some vehicles may have loose nuts that can cause a fuel leak, which poses a risk of increased fuel consumption and, in severe cases, could result in a fire. This recall impacts 160 vehicles produced between February 9, 2024, and May 17, 2025 for the Fiat 600, and between February 28, 2025, and April 28, 2025 for the Grande Panda.
