Gowan Distributors Limited (Fiat Ireland) is conducting a voluntary recall of specific Fiat model vehicles. The affected models include the Fiat Ulysse and Fiat Professional Scudo, which may have a safety issue related to emissions compliance. A diagnostic test may show that these vehicles have an In-Use-Performance-Ratio (IUPR) below the required threshold, which could lead to regulatory non-compliance regarding emissions.
In addition, the recall also affects Fiat 600 and Grande Panda vehicles. These models may experience a fuel leak due to loose nuts in the high-pressure hose connecting the pump to the rail. This issue poses a risk of increased fuel consumption and, in severe cases, could result in a fire.
In total, there are 73 affected Ulysse and Scudo vehicles produced between September 9, 2022, and January 29, 2024, and 160 Fiat 600 and Grande Panda vehicles produced between February 9, 2024, and May 17, 2025, and February 28, 2025, and April 28, 2025, respectively.
