Gowan Distributors Limited (Opel Ireland) has announced a voluntary recall for certain Opel Grandland V2 model vehicles. The recall is due to a safety concern where the fixing screws on the front left and right ball joint mount on the front lower suspension arm may break. While one missing screw does not pose a significant risk, the loss of two screws could cause the ball joint mount to pivot, potentially leading to the affected wheel changing direction and hitting the mudguard, which may compromise the vehicle's steering capacity.
