Gowan Distributors Limited is carrying out a compulsory recall of certain Jeep Avenger passenger vehicles.

An issue has been identified whereby certain Jeep Avenger vehicles may have a fuel leak in the high-pressure hose, between the high-pressure pump and the rail, because of loose nuts. This may lead to increased fuel consumption and, in the worst-case scenario, to a fire in the vehicle.

There are 34 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland that were registered here between 16 January 2024 and 17 May 2025.
