Henry Ford & Son Limited has announced a voluntary recall affecting multiple Ford models due to safety concerns. One of the significant issues involves the handbrake slipping in certain Ford Tourneo Courier and Transit Courier vehicles, which could lead to a complete loss of handbrake holding power, increasing the risk of the vehicle rolling away. This recall affects 62 vehicles produced between September 1, 2025, and November 24, 2025.

Another concern is with the rear axle joints in Ford Capri and Explorer models, which may not have been tightened properly. If these joints come loose, it could cause steering misalignment or even a loss of control, posing a risk of accidents. This recall impacts 2 vehicles produced between February 20, 2025, and November 10, 2025.

Additionally, there is a recall for Ford Kuga vehicles due to a potential internal short circuit in the high-voltage battery, which could lead to a fire hazard. This affects 4,144 vehicles produced from August 2, 2019, to November 28, 2023. Other recalls include issues with excessive gassing in Ford Transit Custom batteries, insufficient wiring harness distance in Transit models, and corroded seatbelt anchor cables in Mustang models, among others.
