Horwood Homewares Ltd has announced a recall of its Stellar Classic 5-Piece Saucepan Sets. The recall is due to a safety concern where the welding on the handles of the long-handled saucepans may weaken, which could lead to the handle detaching while in use. This poses a risk of burns or injury to users if the saucepan is dropped.
The affected products include the Stellar Classic Deep 5-Piece Set with product codes S1F4B and S1F5B, specifically batches 357, 359, 363, and 354. Approximately 400 units were sold in the Republic of Ireland at retailers such as Arnotts and Brown Thomas from July 2024 until September 1, 2025. Consumers can find the product codes on the packaging label and the batch codes printed on the base of each saucepan.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled saucepan sets immediately. They can return the products for a replacement or a refund directly to Horwood Homewares. For those opting for a replacement, the company will arrange for free collection of the cookware set.
