A safety issue has been identified whereby some vehicles may experience reduced fuel pump performance resulting in a sudden loss of power, stalling or vehicle non start.
There are 2,186 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 01 April 2021 and 04 January 2023.

Hyundai Cars Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Hyundai Ioniq 5 N model vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby the subject vehicles are equipped with a Left-Foot Braking (“LFB”) feature designed for use on performance roadways, such as racetracks. During certain driving maneuvers with LFB engaged, the Integrated Electronic Brake (“IEB”) control software may trigger depressurization of the ABS system, resulting in reduced braking performance. Reduced braking performance could lead to longer stopping distances than anticipated by the operator, increasing the risk of a crash.
There are 15 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 13 March 2023 and 11 December 2024.

A safety issue has been identified whereby because of a faulty connection of the electric wire to the generator, heat may be generated in the fuse box in the engine compartment. In that case, there is a risk of fire.
There are 59 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 18 August 2010 and 22 November 2016.

A safety issue has been identified whereby the risk description reported to us is that insufficient fuse protection may lead to a fire if there is a short circuit in the ESP unit. Injury to persons as a result of the defect cannot be ruled out.
