Motor Distributors Limited is conducting a voluntary recall of specific ACTROS and AROCS model vehicles due to a safety concern. The issue involves up to two missing bolts on the axle support, which could cause the remaining bolt assemblies to loosen. This may lead to impaired driving and braking functions, increasing the risk of accidents. There are three affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland, produced between 18 May 2022 and 26 August 2024.

In addition, a recall is also in place for certain eActros and eEconic vehicles. The problem identified is related to the electrohydraulic power steering pumps, which may fail due to insufficient corrosion protection on electrical connections and manufacturing tolerances. If one or more pumps fail, it will not be detected, and no error message will be displayed. There is one affected vehicle in the Republic of Ireland, produced between 01 February 2022 and 30 April 2024.

They are advised to make an appointment with their local dealer or authorized repairer for necessary repairs.
