Nextcar Limited recalls certain Triumph motorcycles

Nextcar Limited is carrying out a recall on certain Triumph Daytona 660 model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby the engine may fail due to internal damage from a disruption of oil flow, which could increase the risk of a crash.

There are 4 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 27 September 2023 and 01 April 2025.

Nextcar Limited is carrying out a recall on certain Triumph Tiger 1200 model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby tyres may, under certain usage conditions (e.g. when under-inflated, with heavy loads, under specific road conditions, when tyres are almost halfway through their life, etc.), wear unevenly, which, over time, may compromise the zero-degree reinforcement. If this condition is not detected in time, the tread may become partially detached and/or there may be a sudden loss of air pressure, which may lead to loss of control of the vehicle and increase the accident risk.

There are 21 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 17 August 2021 to 12 October 2024.
