Polestar Automotive Ireland Ltd is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Polestar 3 model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby there is a risk of fluid ingress into the connector housing, resulting in corrosion of the connector pins. This could cause various electrical issues depending on which pin is affected — for example, a stuck parking brake, difficulty starting the vehicle, multiple error messages displayed, or loss of power steering functionality.  The solution is to replace the bumper harness and inline connector.

There are 43 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 09 March 2024 to 21 February 2025.

Polestar Automotive Ireland Ltd is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Polestar 2 model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby braking functionality may be temporarily disabled after coasting downhill when using One Pedal Drive. This could potentially lead to a collision.  

There are 293 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 23 October 2020 to 09 April 2025.
