Porsche Cars Ireland Limited has announced a recall for specific Porsche 911 passenger vehicles produced between 16 February 2023 and 13 September 2023. The recall is due to a manufacturing defect where an aluminium butyl mat was incorrectly positioned during production. This defect may result in the rear left and right seatbelt buckles not being properly secured, which poses a risk of them releasing during an accident or sudden braking.
