Porsche Cars Ireland Limited recalls certain Porsche Panamera and Taycan passenger vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby a manufacturing defect within the pneumatic spring may lead to a drop in vehicle level on one side. Where this issue arises, the air within the pneumatic spring is released. The resulting limited functioning of the suspension strut affects the driving dynamics. Risk of accident.

 

There are 2 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 19 December 2024 and 22 May 2025.

Porsche Cars Ireland Limited recalls certain Porsche 911 passenger vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby due to a process defect in the production process, an aluminium butyl mat was incorrectly positioned and, as a result, the screw connection of the rear left and right seatbelt buckle was potentially not performed in accordance with the requirements. It cannot therefore be guaranteed that the belt buckle is properly screwed on. This means that the rear belt buckles could be released in the event of an accident or sharp braking. This could increase the associated risk of injury.

There is 1 vehicle affected in the Republic of Ireland that was produced between 16 February 2023 and 13 September 2023.

Porsche Cars Ireland Limited recalls certain Porsche Taycan passenger vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby in the vehicles concerned, there is a possibility that under certain circumstances a defect could occur in the cells in the high-voltage battery. If this is the case, a short circuit in the battery modules during the lifetime of the vehicle cannot be ruled out. This could lead to thermal events and subsequently to the vehicle catching fire.

There are 128 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between  21 October 2019 and 04 March 2024.

Porsche Cars Ireland Limited recalls certain Porsche Cayenne passenger vehicles.

There is a possibility that 9 front axle upper left control arms that are not in line with specifications may have been installed in Cayenne vehicles. The population was identified through production records. The issue was caused by a supplier manufacturing anomaly. Damaged, cracked raw material was used in the forging process of  9 control arms. If a defective control arm has been fitted, it may break over the lifetime of the vehicle. Breakage of the control arm would lead to impaired wheel guidance. A potential loss of control over the vehicle cannot be excluded in that case. This may increase the risk of accidents and injuries.

There are 128 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 09 May 2024 to 19 June 2024.
