The Hunter Price Crayola-Branded Discovery Craft Box is being recalled because the sand inside may contain asbestos, a substance that is banned in the EU due to its health risks. Although health authorities have stated that there is a low risk to human health from these products, the recall is being issued as a precautionary measure.

The affected product has the model number 35501 and was sold between August 2025 and April 2026 at The Works in Wilton Shopping Centre, Co. Cork. Consumers who have purchased this craft box should stop using it immediately and take necessary precautions to handle it safely.

Consumers are advised to place the product in a heavy-duty plastic bag, seal it securely, and label it clearly. It should be stored in a secure location out of reach of children. If the sand has been used, it is important to clean the area with wet cloths to prevent dust from being generated. Gloves and a protective mask should be worn during cleanup, and a vacuum cleaner should not be used. After cleaning, all materials should be double-bagged and stored securely.
