REDCO Auto Holdings Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Honda CL250A, CL250A3, CL500A, CMX500A and CMX500A2 model vehicles.

The screw with which the steering lock is attached to the triple clamp was not tightened with the required torque. If the screw becomes loose while the motorcycle is in motion, it may get caught in the steering system. In the worst case, the motorcycle can no longer be steered, increasing the risk of falling. If the steering lock becomes detached while the vehicle is in motion, it may fall off and endanger other road users.

The recall affects 183 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland produced between 01 December 2022 and 31 March 2025. 

The models affected are CL500 37 units, CMX500A 42 units, CMX500A2 103 units.

REDCO Auto Holdings Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Honda CB1000S and CB1000SPS model vehicles.

In some cases, the fuel hose connected to the fuel tank can unexpectedly come off during riding, resulting in fuel leakage.

The recall affects 22 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland . CB1000S (3) and CB1000SPS (19)

REDCO Auto Holdings Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall on certain Honda CB1000S and CB1000SPS model vehicles.

The safety issue has been identified whereby the oil consumption rate of vehicles incorporating defective parts can deteriorate rapidly. Continuing to drive without noticing that the oil level has dropped could result in a reduction in oil pressure, which could lead to seizure of the connecting rod bearing, breakage of the connecting rod, or locking of the rear wheel.

The recall affects 22 vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
