Temu recalls PANCERKA Sandwich Maker due to fire and electric shock risk

TEMU has announced a recall of the PANCERKA Sandwich Maker, which was sold on its platform by the third-party seller VitaSqueeze. The recall is due to safety concerns that include the potential for fire and electric shock. Specifically, the connector hood of the appliance may detach, allowing users to access live electrical components. Additionally, there is a risk of the power cable overheating, which could lead to a fire hazard.

The affected product is identified by model number ABS505 and has the identification number 6751679277. Approximately five units are believed to be affected in the Republic of Ireland. Consumers are advised that all small appliances sold in Ireland must be compatible with a standard three-pin wall socket, and products with two-pin plugs are not suitable for sale.

Consumers who have purchased this sandwich maker should stop using it immediately and dispose of it in accordance with local electrical waste guidelines.
