Another recall concerns Audi A6, A7, and Q5 models, where the high-voltage battery's cell modules could overheat during charging, posing a fire risk. This recall impacts 770 vehicles manufactured between August 1, 2019, and August 31, 2024. Additionally, certain Audi A8, Q7, and Q8 vehicles are also recalled for the same overheating battery issue, affecting 455 vehicles produced from November 5, 2024, to June 24, 2024.
Further recalls include Audi A5, A6, A6 e-tron, and Q6 e-tron models, where the front passenger airbag may not deploy effectively, increasing injury risks. This affects 5 vehicles made between March 27, 2025, and April 8, 2025. Audi Q4 E-Tron vehicles are recalled due to a failure to display gear options, which could lead to rolling if the parking brake is not engaged, impacting 836 vehicles from 2022 to 2023.
Lastly, certain Audi E-Tron models are recalled due to anomalies in battery modules that may lead to defects and fire risks over time.
