Splash water can penetrate the insufficiently sealed connectors of the 12V battery for the DC/DC-converter and lead to a short circuit with the risk of fire.
There are 9 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 25 March 2014 and 26 August 2020.
