BMW Motorrad is recalling certain S1000RR, HP4, HP4 Race, M1000RR, M1000R, M1000XR, S1000R, and S1000XR model vehicles due to a safety issue where the screw connection of the oil filter may become detached at high engine speeds. This could lead to oil leaking onto the road surface, increasing the risk of critical driving situations. There are 162 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland.
