The YASHE Mini Fridge, sold by YASHE GLOBAL on the Temu platform, has been recalled due to a potential electric shock hazard. This issue arises because the product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive, specifically regarding the compatibility of its electrical charger with standard three-pin wall sockets in Ireland. Products with two-pin plugs are not suitable for sale to consumers in the country.
Currently, there is one affected product in the Republic of Ireland. Consumers are advised to stop using the YASHE Mini Fridge immediately and dispose of it in accordance with local electrical waste guidelines. Temu has removed the product from its platform and will notify affected consumers to assist them with returns or refunds.
