TJX Ireland Unlimited Company t/a TK Maxx and Homesense is carrying out a recall of Misco Sports Light-Up Racket Sets.

The product presents a chemical and choking risk. The screw on the racket used to secure the battery compartment does not remain attached when opened, and the shuttlecock’s button batteries are easily accessible to children. A child could put the batteries in their mouth causing choking. The swallowed batteries may also harm the digestive tract.

The brand is Misco Sports. The model number is MT2287.

There are approximately 25 affected products in the Republic of Ireland. The product was on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between March and April 2026.
