Luceco PLC has announced a recall of TAVUK MasterPlug Travel Plugs, which were manufactured between 2019 and 2023. The recall is due to a safety hazard where the Type I Australian socket does not have shutters, allowing access to live electrical components, which poses a risk of electric shock to consumers. Approximately 43,500 units sold in the Republic of Ireland are affected by this issue.
