Mitsubishi Fuso Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter commercial vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby the area covered by the Active Side Guard Assist (ASGA) sensor may in places be obscured by the body of the vehicle itself or by accessories built onto the sides (e.g. side guards). This could give rise not only to false warnings on the dashboard, but also to an increased risk of accidents when road users or obstacles in the area covered by the sensor are not detected by the safety system or are detected too late.
There are 16 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 23 June 2023 and 30 April 2024

Mitsubishi Fuso Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mitsubishi Fuso Canter commercial vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby a software error in the SSAM module (central control unit) may lead to the failure of various lighting devices and of the windscreen wipers. Failure of lights when it is dark or of windscreen wipers when it is raining or the roads are wet could reduce visibility to the extent that it may not be possible to follow the road. A parked vehicle could also be overlooked by following traffic. Accidents could then occur as a result of vehicles leaving the road or of collisions with, in particular, following traffic.

Mitsubishi Fuso Ireland is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Mitsubishi Fuso Canter commercial vehicles.
A safety issue has been identified whereby it is possible that the vehicles were fitted with rear axle leaf springs using substandard materials received from its supplier. In the faulty leaf springs, individual leaves of the lower spring assembly may break. Fragments may fall into the path of following traffic and put other road users at risk.
There are 37 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 08 January 2015 to 31 October 2019.
