A safety issue has been identified with Glen Dimplex Home Appliances Ltd manufactured Belling Gas Hobs, Gas Supply Elbow Joints, manufactured after May 2019 and which may be installed in domestic settings and the leisure market (holiday homes, caravans and boats).










The risk associated with the product is that of fire as the gas supply elbow joint from the gas hob to the gas supply may fracture, which can cause gas to leak through the fracture and presents a serious fire risk which could pose a risk to health, or even death.

What to do:
It is vitally important that consumers do not use their gas hob.
The CCPC is in contact with the manufacturer to ensure that they inform consumers of this safety issue and address the risks from any affected hobs they have already supplied. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
