A safety issue has been identified with Belling Gas Hobs produced by Glen Dimplex Home Appliances Ltd. These gas hobs, which may be used in homes or leisure settings such as holiday homes, caravans, and boats, have a potential risk of fire. The problem arises from the gas supply elbow joint that connects the hob to the gas supply, which may fracture and cause gas to leak. This situation presents a serious fire risk that could endanger health and safety.
The recall affects multiple models of Belling Gas Hobs, specifically those manufactured after May 2019. While the exact batch numbers and barcodes are not available, there are ten models listed, including the BEL GHU602GC Sta and BEL GTG60C Blk among others. Approximately 1850 units of these products have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.
