TJX Ireland Unlimited Company, trading as TK Maxx and Homesense, has announced a recall for the Global Travel Adapter, which is designed for use in 150 countries and includes a USB 1 AMP charger. The recall is due to safety concerns, as the product does not meet the necessary safety standards, posing risks of electric shock and fire hazards.
Approximately 109 units of this product were sold in the Republic of Ireland between July and August 2023. The specific models affected by the recall are 6019, 6027, and 6030, all under the G Force brand. Unfortunately, the batch number and barcode for these products are not available.
Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled travel adapters immediately. They can return the products to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.
