Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Land Rover Discovery Sport (LC), Range Rover Evoque (LZ), Range Rover Velar(LY), Defender vehicles.

Analysis of the diagnostic data by the supplier of the HV battery pack has identified internal cell behaviour corresponding to a risk of fire in the HV battery in certain vehicles. In some cases, the customer may already have received or will soon receive a HV battery warning indicating that they should seek assistance. In other cases, there may be no symptoms that can be detected by the customer prior to the failure.

There are 46 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland 07 July 2020 to 01 May 2025.

Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited is carrying out a voluntary recall of certain Land Rover Evoque model vehicles.

A safety issue has been identified whereby the passenger airbag module may tear during deployment as a result of improper folding during the airbag assembly process. A torn airbag cannot provide adequate protection to occupants and may increase the risk of injury in a crash. Hot gases could escape, causing burn injuries to occupants.

There are 519 vehicles affected in the Republic of Ireland that were produced between 15 February 2019 and 14 December 2024.
