Toyota Ireland is conducting a voluntary recall affecting several vehicle models, including the Rav4 PHEV, Proace, Proace City, and Highlander. The Rav4 PHEV may experience a failure in the motor initialization process, leading to a loss of power at higher speeds, which increases the risk of a crash. There are 1,275 affected vehicles produced between 05 August 2025 and 05 September 2026.
